Called to preach the Word on radio

LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “… Preach the Word, in and out of season…” (2 Timothy 4:1-2, the Holy Bible).

A NEW CALLING: EMPOWERING PEOPLE, SAVING SOULS: To those who have been used to hearing me dispense legal advice to radio and TV audiences through the years, I wish to invite you to listen to a radio program I am a participant of that gives out an altogether different advice.

Called “Ang Tanging Daan” (or “The Sole Way”), the program gives out spiritual advice and insights that seek to empower our countrymen in their daily lives, and assure them of salvation in the life hereafter, purely based on the Bible. It goes on air Mondays to Fridays, initially at 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at radio station DWAD, 1098 kHz.

The program is sponsored by the Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo (or the AND KNK, Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church, a Christian spiritual group founded in the Philippines, that upholds Jesus Christ as God and Savior, and as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and which aims to fulfill God’s purpose, especially during the end time.

CALLED TO PREACH THE WORD ON RADIO: Other preachers of the AND KNK, notably its Vice Leader Disciple Dr. Ronald Pascual and its Training Director, Engr. Osmin Joyce Pascual, also participate daily. The overall pastor-in-charge of the Church, Pastora Aida Rabang from Cuyo Islands, Palawan, is part of the day-to-day broadcast, too.

So far, the following pastors of the Church have already participated: Henry Cabanela and Ciony Cabanela of Manila, Gary Ancero and Esterlita Linga of Taguig City, Priscilla Del Rosario of Muntinlupa City, Sarah Saldo of Caloocan City, and Nimfa Sagun, Evelyn Falcon, Lany Gilongos, Evelyn Gilongos and Nestor Ambay of Quezon City. Even the only child of the Pascual spouses, eight-year old Raissa Joyce, has become a part of the broadcast.

These pastors and preachers of the Word of God share one thing in common: before they joined the AND KNK, they belonged to different religious groups which did not entice them to proclaime the Word of God, the Bible. They were mere ordinary members of their former churches. It was only when they became AND KNK members that they realized they have been called to preach the Word.

PROCLAIMING JESUS AS GOD AND SAVIOR ON AIR: The recordings of the daily broadcast of “Ang Tanging Daan” can be replayed and listened to, on demand, by anyone, anytime, and anywhere in the world, just by going to the Facebook page of the Church. The Facebook page is known also as “Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo”, and is highlighted by the Church’s logo, the red and white alternating cross.

Once there at the page, the person wanting to listen to the broadcasts must scroll the page downwards, to find the posts entitled “Ang Tanging Daan” broadcast. Each day of the broadcast is chronology marked. That is, the very first broadcast day is called “Ang Tanging Daan: Day 1 broadcast”, and so forth and so on.

Anyone wanting to ask any question, or give any comment or reaction to what is being discussed daily, or anyone wanting to make a prayer request or any other intercessory prayer can simply send a text message to this number: 0922 833 43 96. Indeed, the AND KNK thanks God, in the Name of Jesus, for this privilege of proclaiming Jesus as God and Savior, and as God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
