“Ang Tanging Daan”: Bible course on radio

LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, in Matthew 28:19, the Holy Bible).

THE POOR AND UNLETTERED AS PREACHERS? WHY NOT? One of the core commands of Jesus, our God and Savior, that the Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo (AND KNK, or the Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church would like to pursue is going into the world to make all the nations His disciples.

It is for this reason that AND KNK is furiously training all its members to become preachers of the Word of God, not the type of ordinary believers who do nothing but wear out the benches they sit on in their churches, ready to proclaim the Bible everywhere. It is of no moment that the AND KNK member is unlettered, hasn’t gone to school, or is unable to finish any degree, collegiate or otherwise, or is poor, and experiencing difficulties in life.

The AND KNK believes that, like the disciples of old, all that is needed for a person to become a pastor or a preacher, doing the work of God by preaching and proclaiming God’s commands and therefore saving souls from the fire and worms of hell, is a heart sincerely wanting to serve God, by a conscientious study of, and obedience to, His Word, the Bible.

AND KNK OFFERS ORDINATION FOR PASTORS: In fact, as far as AND KNK is concerned, one does not need to have a degree in theology, or undergone training in a seminary to become a preacher. What is truly important for a person who feels he had been called by God to be His worker, particularly a preacher of His Word in the Bible, is the willingness to thoroughly study under the direction of others who have been inspired by God to share His Word.

That is the reason why AND KNK is pushing for many practical ways of becoming a pastor or a preacher. One is by religiously attending Bible study lessons conducted by AND KNK leaders every Wednesday, at 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and every Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for those in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Another way is a Bible course through radio and the Internet, which is to be started by AND KNK by May 18, 2015, God willing, so that those who have been inspired to preach the Word of God in far-flung areas, or are so situated in life that they do not have the financial capability to attend a formal theological or seminary training, or who do not have the time for a formal study, can still explore the Bible and imbibe its basic teachings, which can then be shared with many others.

“ANG TANGING DAAN”: BIBLE COURSE ON AIR: And so, I am repeating AND KNK’s invitation for those who would wish to become pastors and preachers of the Word, wherever you maybe, whatever age or financial or marital status you may find yourselves in at present: join us in our Bible courses though the radio and the Internet, and be granted certificates of ordination and licenses to preach thereafter.

As the Book of Hosea says in the Old Testament, it is time to seek the Lord.
