Jesus is God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit

LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…baptize them in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit…” (Jesus, our God and Savior, in Matthew 28:19-20, the Holy Bible).

JESUS IS GOD THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT: Is there proof that Jesus is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all at the same time? Yes, there is (or there are, in fact), pursuant to the study of the Bible conducted by the Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo (or the Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church, or the Church of Jesus that was mentioned in Matthew 16:18 and Isaiah 46:11.

The first and most telling proof that Jesus is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit could be found in John 10:30 and John 20:22. In John 10:30, Jesus said “I and the Father are one”. This statement, which is punctuated by a period after the word “one”, is proof enough that Jesus is both God the Father and God the Son.

Now, if the Father is God, and the Father and Jesus are one (as Jesus Himself said in John 10:30), then it is clear that Jesus is God, the Father and the Son. On the other hand, in John 20:22, it is clear that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are also one---in fact, the Holy Spirit came out as He was breathed out by Jesus to the disciples.

DUTY TO BAPTIZE IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT: If Jesus and the Father are one and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are also one, then there should be no doubt at all that Jesus is the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, the one and only true God.

But these are not the only verses that yield the same truth. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus gave His disciples very serious responsibilities: go to all the world and make all the nations His disciples, baptize them in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and to teach everyone His commands.

Now, why would Jesus command that the nations should be baptized in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit? The only logical answer is that, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit constitute the one true God, Jesus.

JESUS IS “MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER”: Let us not forget that, pursuant to John 1:1-14, it is clear that God Himself came down from heaven, assumed human form, and lived among men although many of His own did not accept Him.

These Biblical passages about God coming down to earth, and assuming human form and living with His people, actually were fulfillment of the prophecy made by many prophets, particularly Isaiah. Isaiah prophesied that God would come down from heaven in the form a human---in fact, in the form of a baby boy, who would be with His people.

Yet, even if God would be coming down as a human being, with flesh and blood, and in the form of a baby boy, it was made clear, in Isaiah 9:6, that this “baby boy” was to be called “Mighty God, Everlasting Father.” Now, surely, no one but no one would be called by the Bible as “Mighty God, Everlasting Father” but God Himself, even if He appeared in human flesh and blood, right?
